Jefferson Allen McMahan
Jefferson Allen McMahan (nato il 30 agosto 1954) è un filosofo statunitense. Attualmente è professore di filosofia morale presso l’Università di Oxford.
McMahan ha pubblicato diversi testi su argomenti di interesse per l’altruismo efficace, come l’etica delle popolazioni;a il rischio esistenziale da guerra nucleare;l’b l’etica animalec (compresa l’etica del mangiare animali,d lo status morale degli animali,eil benessere degli animali selvatici);f e l’esigenza della moralità.g Ha anche pubblicato una risposta a varie critiche all’altruismo efficace.h
