Steven Arthur Pinker

Steven Arthur Pinker (nato il 18 settembre 1954) è uno psicologo cognitivo, linguista e autore canadese-statunitense.

Coinvolgimento nell’altruismo efficace

Pinker ha descritto l’altruismo efficace come “una delle grandi nuove idee del XXI secolo”,⁠1 e ha scritto che “i movimenti che mirano a diffondere la sofisticatezza scientifica come l’altruismo efficace hanno un vasto potenziale per migliorare il benessere umano”⁠2 Ha anche collaborato con il gruppo universitario Harvard Effective Altruism e ha espresso il suo sostegno a Giving What We Can.⁠3
